SUMMARY:How To Become a Member of the Corvette Club of Texas
DESCRIPTION:How to become a member of CCT: \nMembership for CCT (Corvette Club of Texas) is free for 2026 for new members. According to our by-laws all new members must join NCCC (National Council of Corvette Clubs) for their first year of membership in CCT. \nThe 2026 dues amount for a new member to join NCCC is $50 for an individual and an additional $15 for a companion. After attending a CCT meeting or meetings\, if a guest wishes to join CCT\, he/she should request a paper form\, complete it and return it to Debbie or Paul (at a meeting) along with a with a check payable to “NCCC”. Debbie will update the CCT roster and order a name badge. The new member will be added to our email distribution list. Paul will submit the form and check to NCCC and will update the NCCC database page for CCT.  \n

DESCRIPTION:The city of Arlington is hosting its 4th annual Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show on Saturday\, September 26\, 2026 from 9 am to 3 pm. \nAll registrations prepared for the June 6th event\, which was cancelled due to rain\, remain in place for the new September 26th date. If you are not available to participate on the new date\, of course we will offer entry fee refunds. If we don’t hear from you\, we will keep you registered. \n\nIf you have pre-registered and received a “CLEARED” dash pass\, please print and put in your dashboard so that you are easily identifiable as a car owner who has completed registration.\nCar Owner Arrival & Registration Time: 7:00-8:30am \nRegistration Check in Location: 500 E. Front St. (Off of Division\, State Hwy US 80) \nArrival Instructions: Enter the event site via E. Division St. east of N. East St. Look for the black & white checkered flags on E. Division St. just east of on N. East St\, turn south towards Front St. (See attached load in Map and Photo for reference) PLEASE FOLLOW EVENT STAFF INSTRUCTIONS. \nThere will be 2 lanes to line up in. If you have a CLEARED pass approach the lane on your RIGHT with signage that says CLEARED. If you have not completed registration (provided insurance & paid fee) approach the lane on your LEFT that says REGISTER. \nWhen you reach the front of the line in the CLEARED line you will receive your credential and vehicle placard which should be kept in your windshield for the entire event for judging. You will be escorted to your parking spot by a member of our production team. \nWhen you reach the front of the REGISTER line you will need to provide proof of insurance (bring a photocopy or be ready to show on your phone). You will then receive your credential and placard and be escorted to your parking space. \nIf you are bringing your car on a car trailer or if you are part of a large car club and want to be parked together\, please contact our office. We cannot guarantee placement together unless you arrive together at Registration.\nWe are super excited to welcome you all to the Downtown Arlington Classic Car Show! \nCar owners are invited to come inside the Arlington Music Hall on Center S. near Division for refreshments\, to use the restrooms or to cool off for a few minutes! \n\nWe will have breakfast tacos and Inclusion coffee available at 7:45am as well as water and snacks throughout the day. The Music Hall concessions stand and bar will be open and there will be food vendors and food trucks at the Farmers Market on W. Front Street. \n\nWe will have car show ambassadors checking in with car owners throughout the day. Feel free to ask them for help if you need anything or if you need a break\, they can stay with your car so you can step away.

SUMMARY:Cowtown Vettes 24th Annual Corvette Show October 17\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:The CTV annual all Corvette Show will be held at Jerry’s Chevrolet in Burleson\, which is located on the West side of I-35 approximately 4 to 5 miles south of loop 820.  Show hours are 10 am to 2 pm.  If you are showing a Corvette plan on arriving around 8:30 to 9:00 am.  You can perform on-site registration for $50 per car. \nThe show cars will be displayed under the covered awnings in the shade. This event typically contains approximately 125 corvettes in the show. \nCCT Members Paul & Mary Wolter’s Satin Silver 1962 Corvette with a red interior was voted Class Winner of the early C1 thru C4 Corvettes at the Cowtown Vettes annual car show. Paul performed a body-off restoration\, including painting it at the Fort Worth Tarrant College automobile refinishing class over a two-year timeframe. The interior and drive train restoration was done later at home.

DESCRIPTION:The annual National Corvette Restorers Society will conduct flight judging of C1 thru C6 Corvettes. This event is open to the public from 9 am to 3 pm Friday and Saturday to view all the corvettes at Embassy Suites Hotel\, and Convention Center located at 7600 John Q Hammons Drive in Frisco\, TX 75034 \nHere is a bit of good news regarding judging of NCRS cars.  The following information was provided by Joe Scafidi\, the NCRS National Judging Chair \n“Roy Sinor is the team leader of Open Class judges and once the National Convention is over registration WILL open for all cars through 2026. The Texas Regional will be the first event to offer Open Class judging for cars outside of our regular Flight Judging coverage.\nNow you may enter your C7 and C8 cars for the new “OPEN CLASS” of NCRS. Ruby and Saphire Acrylic plaques will be awarded to Open Class participants. \n  \n

If you selected a child to shop for\, you could bring gifts bagged and labeled with child’s name and family number.\nSilent auction of items donated by former members\, Howard and Barbara include clocks\, art and new C8 luggage. Proceeds benefit Gill Children’s Services. You can write a check for items purchased in the silent auction. https://www.gillchildrens.org\nOur best raffle of the year! All raffle proceeds go to purchase grocery gift cards for the parents of the children we are assisting this year. As a Corvette Club in the National Council of Corvette Clubs we are required to have a significant service project each year. This is ours. If you have a special item you would like to donate to the raffle\, please bring it (no wrapping or bag) and place it on the raffle table. All items are displayed for winners to choose their prizes!\nLast\, is the gift exchange game. Brian Gelles is the MC. He will explain the rules of stealing!
