SUMMARY:How To Become a Member of the Corvette Club of Texas
DESCRIPTION:How to become a member of CCT: \nMembership for CCT (Corvette Club of Texas) is free for 2026 for new members. According to our by-laws all new members must join NCCC (National Council of Corvette Clubs) for their first year of membership in CCT. \nThe 2026 dues amount for a new member to join NCCC is $50 for an individual and an additional $15 for a companion. After attending a CCT meeting or meetings\, if a guest wishes to join CCT\, he/she should request a paper form\, complete it and return it to Debbie or Paul (at a meeting) along with a with a check payable to “NCCC”. Debbie will update the CCT roster and order a name badge. The new member will be added to our email distribution list. Paul will submit the form and check to NCCC and will update the NCCC database page for CCT.  \n

Penske Entertainment\, the Dallas Cowboys and REV Entertainment\, the official events partner of the Texas Rangers\, have announced a first-of-its-kind joint venture to establish and operate the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington. \nThe inaugural Java House Grand Prix of Arlington will take place March 13-15\, 2026\, with practice and qualifications set for Friday\, March 13 and Saturday\, March 14\, respectively. Everything builds toward an epic race day Sunday\, March 15! \nThe 2.73-mile track layout will feature two iconic sporting venues recognized by fans around the world: AT&T Stadium\, home of the National Football League’s Dallas Cowboys and Globe Life Field\, home of Major League Baseball’s Texas Rangers. SUMMARY:March Membership Meeting Saturday the 21st\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:There will be NO membership meeting at the Dallas Longhorn Icehouse in March. Instead\, Richard has organized an outing with lunch and a tour of the DFW Car and Toy Museum on Saturday\, March 21st. \nOn Saturday\, March 21st 11:30 am we meet for lunch at Mercado Juarez located at 1651 E. Northside Dr\, in Fort Worth. \nAt 1:15 pm we will caravan to the DFW Car and Toy Museum located at 2550 McMillan Pkwy in Fort Worth. (Admission is free). The membership meeting will be conducted at 1:30 pm in the museum’s meeting room for a brief CCT meeting with a club raffle and then enjoy the unique museum. \nPlease RSPV to Debbie Garrison at mdgarrison@tx.rr.com or text 214-533-6111 if you plan on attending \nCCT received 10 free passes (good for anytime this year) to the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky. Worth on March 21st \nHere are the minutes: \nMike Garrison called the meeting to order and welcomed 40 lovely members and guests. It was great to see so many in attendance. \nA big thanks to Richard Merrill for planning lunch\, the meeting space and free museum visit for our group. It was a nice day with many friends and beautiful cars. \nRichard stated he will be working on future events and will plan to share them at our next meeting. He is going to set up activities that we can add to our calendar that will reach over the next 4 to 6 months or so. \nBrian Gelles made a motion to approve the Feb 2026 minutes\, and Gilbert Crouch seconded. Minutes approved. \nWe had an update from our Treasurer\, Mitch Factor. \nMembership- As of the beginning of March our membership was 51 in CCT with 28 of those also in NCCC. (Note: New members who have joined CCT/NCCC since Jan 1st are TC and Gail in January and Wayne and JaNea in February. At the end of this March meeting\,   Bobby and Debbie McGee\, owners of a 1958 convertible handed in their NCCC application. This will increase our membership by two more.) \nNext meeting is April 18th. \nMike adjourned the meeting. \nBrian and Janet conducted our raffle. SUMMARY:Cowtown Vettes 24th Annual Corvette Show October 17\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:The CTV annual all Corvette Show will be held at Jerry’s Chevrolet in Burleson\, which is located on the West side of I-35 approximately 4 to 5 miles south of loop 820.  Show hours are 10 am to 2 pm.  If you are showing a Corvette plan on arriving around 8:30 to 9:00 am.  You can perform on-site registration for $50 per car. \nThe show cars will be displayed under the covered awnings in the shade. This event typically contains approximately 125 corvettes in the show. \nCCT Members Paul & Mary Wolter’s Satin Silver 1962 Corvette with a red interior was voted Class Winner of the early C1 thru C4 Corvettes at the Cowtown Vettes annual car show. Paul performed a body-off restoration\, including painting it at the Fort Worth Tarrant College automobile refinishing class over a two-year timeframe. The interior and drive train restoration was done later at home.

SUMMARY:2026 Lone Star NCRS Regional Event - Frisco\, TX October 22-24
DESCRIPTION:The annual National Corvette Restorers Society will conduct flight judging of C1 thru C6 Corvettes. This event is open to the public from 9 am to 3 pm Friday and Saturday to view all the corvettes at Embassy Suites Hotel\, and Convention Center located at 7600 John Q Hammons Drive in Frisco\, TX 75034 \nHere is a bit of good news regarding judging of NCRS cars.  The following information was provided by Joe Scafidi\, the NCRS National Judging Chair \n“Roy Sinor is the team leader of Open Class judges and once the National Convention is over registration WILL open for all cars through 2026. The Texas Regional will be the first event to offer Open Class judging for cars outside of our regular Flight Judging coverage.\nNow you may enter your C7 and C8 cars for the new “OPEN CLASS” of NCRS. Ruby and Saphire Acrylic plaques will be awarded to Open Class participants. \n  \n
